From the slow ripening of the olives produced by ancient trees that constitute the countless olive groves that surround the area around Malcesine, it is possible to obtain an extremely high quality oil characterised by a significantly low acidity (0.10 – 0.30 in average).
The light and unmistakable taste makes it the unquestioned protagonist of the typical cuisine of Garda.
The oil of Malcesine is perfect to season many different types of foods, thus becoming an excellent condiment for vegetables, fish, meat and anything else.
Thanks to the high content of vitamins and trace elements present in its chemical composition, the oil has always been considered an essential element for the wellness of the body.
